Let Me Help
How can Chiropractic help my pet?
Animals and humans alike have a very adaptable body that is designed to self-heal and self-regulate. When the joints of the back (spine) do not move properly, this can interfere with the bodies perception (brain - body connection); interrupting the bodies ability to adapt to stresses and self-heal.
Chiropractors are trained to find these areas of the spine, make gentle adjustments to restore the natural movement of the joint, enabling the nervous system to do what it does best!
Is Chiropractic safe for my pet?
Yes, Chiropractic is very gentle and safe for animals.
Jess is a qualified chiropractor and has done additional training at Options for Animals in Kansas, USA (Animal Chiropractic College). We adapt how we assess and adjust your animal to make it as low stress and enjoyable experience for your pet.
What can I expect at the initial consult?
Prior to the appointment you will fill out the initial consult paperwork, which will be emailed to you upon booking.
The initial consult takes about 45 minutes, give or take, depending on how your pet reacts on the day. Expect to go through your pets health history, including lifestyle, diet, etc. We then move into a physical exam, chiropractic spinal exam including adjustments if appropriate on the day.
Do I need a Veterinarian referral?
No you do not need a referral from your Veterinarian. Please keep in mind that chiropractic care is a complimentary part of your pets health and does not replace the advice of your Veterinarian.
